The organizer commission of BIG (Bienal Internacional de Guarulhos do Pequeno Formato - Guarulhos International Biennial of Small Format) reports that its fifth edition will not be open to the public due Covid-19’s pandemic context. This year’s programming will be taken online because of authorities’ recommendations and also as a result of the same ethical and safety reasons we had always respected.
Due to this current context, we announce that the entries are open for artists, artistic collectives and others interested about exhibiting their artworks. In 2020, V BIG will be organized online, on our blog and on our Instagram’s account, which will be open specially for this event.
The V BIG’s main theme is “The Emu’s Dilemma in this Full Earth” (“O Dilema da Ema nessa Terra Plena”), catch phrase that will guide us to reflections about challenges and social, artistic, political and environmental issues which we live in nowadays.
